MD28
ISONEM MD 28is a two-component insulation product based on cement and
of an acrylic emulsion, insulating, elastic and having a high resistance to abrasion. It closes capillaries and shrinkage cracks on the applied surface.
ISONEM MD 28 adheres perfectly to surfaces such as concrete, plaster, screed, etc. It does not disintegrate over time.

  • Suitable for positive insulation of walls and floors:

    - Insulation on concrete, plaster and alum applications,

    - Roofs, balconies, terraces, swimming pools,

    - Wet areas, showers, etc.

    - The insulation of the exterior curtain walls,

    - Prefabricated elements.

  • SURFACE PREPARATION:

    The surface to be applied must be clean and damp. Dampen surface if dry to prevent buildup. Remove oil, dust, rust or adhesion reducing factors. If there is a problem of adhesion or uneven surfaces, use the primer ISONEM UNIVERSAL PRIMER before application, if points require repair work, segregations or voids, use the elastic mortar ISONEM M03

    APPLICATION METHOD:

    Pour the liquid component B (10 kg) into a clean and sufficiently large container. Slowly add powder component A (20 kg) Mix gently for 5 minutes, using a mixer, avoiding lumps, until you obtain a homogeneous mortar applicable with a brush. Apply ISONEM MD 28 in 3 vertical coats. Leave to dry for 4 hours between each coat. Do not leave more than 24 hours at most. Wet film thickness should not exceed 1 mm per coat. Do not apply in extreme heat. Favor an application early in the morning, or late in the evening.

    TOOL CLEANING:

    Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after application.
